NPA FOILS DEMOCRATIC SOLDIERS OPERATIONS

The NPA (New People's Army) had a counter offensive on 25th Infantry battalion, 46th Infantry Battalion, and 72nd Infantry battalion killing at least 18 Democratic Soldiers. The battle fought was on 20th to the 22nd of June 2014 on Laak and Monkayo Town in Compostela Valley Davao Del Norte.  

Eastern Mindanao Command stepped up its counter revolutionary activities last week to suppress the revolution against the Philippine democratic Government. The Democratic Army deployed 9 platoons on Laak, 6 platoons on Monkayo, 3 platoons on Loreto Town, 3 Platoons on Davao Del Norte and almost all Barangays of Veruela town. 

22nd of June 2014-The NPA (New People's Army) Out maneuvered the 72nd Infantry Battalion on a counter raid. Discharging Explosives on the Democratic Soldiers killing 3 soldiers in Mabuhay Barangay Dacudao, Davao Del Norte. Around 3 pm, NPA (New People's Army) mounted explosives on 46th Infantry Battalion killing 5 soldiers and wounding 4 on Barangay Ampawid, Laak. 

20th of June 2014-NPA (New People's Army) discharged explosives on the 25th Infantry Battalion, 2 soldiers killed and one severly wounded in Sitio Saog, Barangay San Isidro, Monkayo. Around 9:45 pm, a platoon of the same unit was also hit killing 2 more soldiers in Barangay Sitio Angase, Casoon Monkayo. 

Demcratic Army soldiers are scourging the hinterlands of Santa Josefa, Loreto, Veruela towns in Agusan Del Sur bringing torture, intimidation, psychological warfare, and interrogation to the Lumads.
