TALAINGOD RESIDENTS DRIVES OUT AFP FROM THEIR AREA

More than 1,000 (one thousand Members) of the Talaingod successfully drives out the AFP (Armed Forces of the Philippines) out of their communities and towns. The Soldiers driven out of the area belongs to 1003rd Infantry brigade.
Travelling to Davao seeked help from the Holy Roman Catholic Church groups and Civic Organizations. They were accomodated by the Roman Catholic Church in Davao. Davao City Mayor Duterte facilitated negotiations with 1003rd Brigade to move out of their residentials. Davao Mayor Duterte promised transportation to return home to their ancestral land.
According to Talaingod residents, they are being accused by the AFP (Armed Forces of the Philippines) to be supporting the NPA (New People's Army). They are condemning the AFP (Armed Forces of the Philippines) for bombing their land.
The Communist party of the Philippines said,"The CPP Enjoins the people of Talaingod and other areas being militarized to paved way for the entry of plundering big Mining Companies, and plantations to stand firmly in the defence of their rights and their land."
