Guns had been around since the early days of the gun powder in human history. Shooting guns are one of the main profession in the military since the. Gun Collection is one of the most expensive hobbies. One gun could cost up to more than 3,000 RMB (three thousand Ren Min Bi). Gun collections varies from Short handguns, to the long rifles. 

In the Philippines, there are gun collectors but that as many as those in Russia or in Europe. 

Gun Collection starts from the earliest guns which is the 16th Century European Flintlocks and pistols to the World War II guns. The qualifications for gun collections are the antique guns are in mint conditions, the original parts must be there and replaced cause it will lower the value of these, and they are ready to fire as they are centuries before, and lastly but the most important they are rare thus raising their price values.

Guns like the 17th Century flintlocks are hard to find nowadays not unless you have local or international access to armory, shipwrecks, old castles, old forts, and the place are in its antiquity. You don't just got lucky and pick up some flintlock. This don't happen everyday thats why they are very expensive.
