PCCI ALLOTED FINANCES IN AGRICULTURE

PCCI (Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry) President Miguel Varuela said the government must come up with ways to lend to the agricultural sector. This includes lending money to farmers in the countryside.

Based on discussion, PCCI President plans to dsiburse funds for farmers in MIndanao through MinDA (Mindanao Development Authority). He had recieved numbers of complains farmers having a hard time accessing to funds thus through the banks' stringent rules and requirements.
