A man must have integrity and he must be trustworthy at all times even if no one is looking and around him. If he cannot be trusted and he has no integrity, how can he step in Society and be trusted by many. A cultured man makes integrity and trustworthiness as one of the most valuable assets. 

The best example is a politician or a nation, United States lost its integrity by invading others, using dirty political tactics to attack political enemies different from their ideology, they use dirty diplomatic tricks to make allied nations as their pawns of sacrifice, they use military hardware to intimidate and threaten others to prove they are number 1 and they even uses UN on their political agenda. Such actions is not creating integrity but otherwise. 

These actions cause people not to trust them and their actions.
