CHICKEN WITH SHERRY SAUCE
Chicken is a worldwide delicacy even in the Spanish culture. Eating was brought by the Spaniards to the Philippines when it became a colony. Filipinos are meat eaters but they never eaten chickens before. Sherry Sauce is a delicacy only in Spain not found anywhere in Europe. This Yummy taste of Chicken will sure suit your taste buds once you had a bite.
Ingridients:
1 Chicken jointed
4 tbsp of Olive oil
100 Grams of olive oil
1 onion
150 Gram mushrooms
150ml Sherry
1 bay leaf
Salt and pepper
Process:
First Step, Heat the Olive oil in a casserole dish and add the chicken pieces. Make sure they are crispy brown.
Second Step, Chop the onion and ham along with the mushrooms
Third Step, Add them to the Casserole and saute them for more than 15 minutes.
Fourth Step, Pour in the Sherry, add the bay leaf seasoned with pepper and salt
Fifth Step, Cover and simmer until the Chicken is tender and juicy.
It usually served with grained rice in Spanish cuisine. You can also dip dry to sweet sherry sauce.
