THE WUSHU TEAM OF YESTER YEARS

There was once a group of students training for stunts and thus preparing for they known as the programs related to the Chinese Culture. This was a group of college students from Chiang Kai Shek College (CKSC) having their stunts and performance during Moon Cake festivals, Chinese New Year, and teachers day. This is what other universities doesn't have and it is Wushu. You can only find it in Chiang Kai Shek College (CKSC). 

From learning the Basic martial arts to the advance martial arts, it took 1 or 2 years to accomplish. This includes splitting your legs and jumping from the air like in any Kung Fu movies. The performances which excelled to stun hundreds of CKSC College Students during the yester years, and the feeling of being a well learned person knowing you are capable of kicking and punching like that, and it all brings back the memories. 

Although by those times, Many are better than me and performed higher performances than kicks and punches. many flew through the air higher than me. But it didn't stop me thinking than I can be better than them. It isn't about who is better it is about Mutual comradeship and Moral coexistence with your team mate.

That is the spirit of Wushu (武术) to coexist with others without any malice and thus with respect. This is the part the west doesn't understand even in the part of the Filipinos. All they know is the movements, the stances, and how to kick asses. But the real deal is to make oneself better through moral values and the Spirit of being Cultivated.
