THE LIFESTYLE SURVEY MADE BY THE PRESS

Recently there was a survey made by the press in the rich and their families. The Youth today is craving for material things that many of us found luxurious. These Material Things are just  mere 1 RMB (Ren Min Bi) objects for the rich but for the youth who belonged to the middle classes and the lower classes they are considered million RMB (Ren Min Bi). Based on the Survey gathered, many of the youth had chosen these top ten material things. 

Based on the surveys made, the worst worries was about protecting their dynasties. The Youth especially most of those who belong to the middles classes and lower classes chose to marry rich people so they don;t have to work hard for the money. This is the top most ways how people in the Philippines acquire their wealth. The second but the most rampant ways was exploiting the rich and Manipulation through dishonest cheating. In lay man's terms these people are called "Gold diggers". 

In College alone, you can see young students bragging their cars and showing it off to their friends. But in reality they are the money of their parents.

The most number of votes are as follows: 

1. House and Lot/ Huge Housing

Many of the youth had dreamt of owning huge spacious condominiums, and mansions for their family and posterity to live in to. The priviledge of having a huge hacienda and mansions cannot be bought by Money. Although it gives pride and joy to the rich, but the middle class it is a material thing that is heavenly (Meaning hard to reach). 

One Huge Housing and Real estate property would costs up to P15, 000, 000 (fifteen million pesos) if you would compare to the daily income of an average individual in the Philippines, the money isn't enough to buy even if the individual would save up to 20 years. 

2. Luxurious Cars/ Vehicles

Many of the youth nowadays are due to the wealth of their parents thats because they had their first car and their first driving lessons. But the real middle class and lower class could hardly afford these things because some of the vehicles would cost up to P900, 000 (nine hundred thousand pesos). 

If you take Mercedez Benz for instance, one unit of these vehicles was P5, 000, 000 (five million pesos). 

Compare it to the daily income of a normal worker in the Philippines, it is not enough to purchase these luxuriuos cars not unless they have rich husbands/wives, or wealthy parents. 

3. Their personal Yatch

 In the Philippines having your own yatch is one of the privildege only the rich can have. One Yatch can costs up to P17, 000, 000 (Seventeen Million Pesos). Manila is a good port for these Personal yatch.

Manila Business Tycoons Lucio Tan, Gokonwei, and politcian Estarda had their own yatch in the port. This is one of the things many of the youth was aiming in their dreams but only a few could afford.

These things are material things that we (the youth) found luxurious and sometimes spend most of our lives working for it and making it real. The Real riches the youth must possess aside from these is wisdom, Knowledge, and Skill better than their forefathers. This is the most important wealth as youths we must first have before acquiring these materials from our parents.
