A NIGHT WITH A SIMPLE JOYS OF A MESTIZO FAMILY
By: Mark Cua

My Girlfriend, Her Mom, the CEO, and the Debutante
Philippines as one of the Colonies of Spain for 300 plus years, had created a mixture of Hispanic and Native mixture of bloodlines. Even for today, this kind of mixture had a Spanish term called "Mestizo". The Azarcon family with some family members born in Pampanga, and some a native of Mindanao. Our forefathers had told us about the hospitality of the Mestizo Family.

Jonie Anne Azarcon the Second youngest children of the Azarcon family had just celebrated her 18th birthday last  24th of June 2012. A Debut party was held in Muntinlupa inside the residence of the Azarcon Family. In the Simple Debut Celebration comes with family friends, fiances, and relatives. With the blessings of the father a native of Mindanao, also a good father and a responsible mother who is a Pampangena to the young debutante Jonie Anne Azarcon, prepared a feastful of foods and festivities.

It starts with a warm welcome from the Azarcon family. A brilliant cook from Pamapanga named Kuya Roni cooked one of the best foods in the Debut. The Delicious Fried Chicken, Shanghai rolls, and Calderata. Among the Hispanic foods the best and the most delicious.

Who wouldn't eat succulent foods made by a local chef born in Pampanga and specialized in Pampangeno Food. Add up the simple joys of small children running around with basketballs, and playing with dog named Kramer. Along the Festivities were simple message giving programs to the young debutante Jonie Anne Azarcon.

As for the debutante (Jonie Anne Azarcon), for her admirers too bad for them for a strict father and mother of no boyfriend until graduation. But the good news for them was She would be graduating in 2 years time and so for suitors suit up, get some flowers ready, and get your heads on your books first.

The Guests who sings and gets the served food
I could never deny Saluting to the succulent foods, the Hispanic legacy of Pampanga, the sturdiness of the native Mindanao and the hospitality of the Filipinos on being welcomed into their homes. The Azarcon Family was one of the few remaining Filipino families whose moral values remain intact and its breeding still morally upright. Thanks and Salutations to a good and responsible Father who brought up their children right.

I would also agree Filipinos do love to sing. Maybe it was part of their culture since the days of the Spaniards. Thank goodness no wine and alcoholic beverages in the Debut festivities.
