BUREAU OF CORRECTIONS LEAKED REPORT PROVED CHIEF PANGILINAN AND OTHERS GUILTY OF ANTI GRAFT CHARGES

Pangilinan and 8 others are arrested and wanted for anti graft charges proven by the leaked Bureau of Corrections Report which landed on the hands of the press. The Prison Project which was submitted to the Department of Justice was requested for P1.4 Million (one million and four hundred thousands pesos) but the report proved it below P500, 000 (five hundred thousand pesos) only.

Department of Justice issued warrants for Pangilinan and 8 others involved in this graft case and still unkown to who leaked the documents to the press. Muntinlupa Prosecutor Edward Togodon, and other members of the BuCor Probe denied the allegations they released the leaked report.

The panel investigated journalists who reported on the leaked report and also along with the janitress who is responsible for the cleaning of the office where the Panel kept the papers. Investigation was ongoing on the two presses in the Department of Justice (DOJ).
