NPA AMBUSHES DEMOCRATIC SOLDIERS IN NEGROS ISLAND

MCC-NPA (MOunt Cansermon Command-New People's Army) had successfully won an ambush against a long column of 62nd Infantry Battalion in Negros Island last May 12, 2018.

More than 15 Democratic Soldiers were killed and 15 other Wounded in Action (WIA). The Incident happened in Sitio Bonsad, Baranagay Tan Awan, Kabankalan City. NPA (New People's Army) confiscated from the Democratic Soldiers: 

1. M203 Rifle (11)

2. K-3 Chain Bullets ( 500 Rounds)

3. Democratic Soldier Back Packs (6)

4. Other Military Items 

However 1 Communist Red Fighter died and he is Comrade Bebe. 2 was wounded in action. Starting from Janaury 2018 to April 2018, the 62nd Infantry Battalion and the CAFGUs were widespread in the Baranagays of: 

1. Buenavista 

2. Carabalan

3. Mahalang 

4. Caradio An

5. San Antonio 

6. Biao 

7. Santol (Binalbagan City)    

8. Tan Awan 

9 Hilamonan 

10. Pindahan 

11. Tanglad
