3 Foreigners and 1 Filipina are abducted by Muslim Extremist Bandits called the Abu Sayyaf and they are taken by boat. They are held hostage at Samal Island and taken away to the Zamboanga Peninsula where they Reside.
Kjartan Sekkingstad, John Ridsdel, and Robert Hall are three foreigners abducted by the Abu Sayyaf and possibly brought to Sulu where many of them reside.
