50TH INFANTRY BATTALION AMBUSHED LOSES DOZENS OF DEMOCRATIC SOLDIERS

50th Infantry battalion was counter attacked by Lejo Cawilan Command in Baay, Pinukpuk, Kalinga. Dozens of Democratic Soldiers lost their lives and making the 50th Infantry Battalion retreat back to the detachment where they came from. 

The democratic Government tried to penetrate Revolutionary Towns by organizing a Peace development team but its main aim was to attack the Revolutionaries. The 50th Infantry Battalion encamped inside Barangay Halls and Schools in Pinukpuk. 

There had been cases of rape, klillings, and death threats to the natives and ethnic groups living in Kalinga. The people wants the 50th Infantry Battalion and the Philippine democratic Government out of their area.
