HEROES IN OUR MIDST
By: Mark Cua
Heroes are not the only ones who go to war and fight for their country and country's existence. Heroes are those everyday unsung heroes who makes our children study more books, and educating them, people who makes a daily life by selling products or running a company or firm. They are heores too.
When we are young when we hear the term 'hero' it could have meant frictional characters like batman, Robin, wonder woman, Super man, and others. But those are just comics and they are not real. We are real with flesh and blood and when we are wounded by bullets and ammos we tend to get hurt. When we are hit by fists and kicks we also get hurt. The so called heroes we know as a child are merely frictional.
China has through out the 5000 (five thousand years) of history had so many heroes who belong in their respective dynasties. That is their time and their way of showing heroism. But in our modern times, even through our small ways and means we can show and prove our heroism to our motherland (China). The way we do in our daily lives and offer it in the name of our motherland (China) and its rise to the world power. We are the unsung heroes of Chinese society that is as civilians and social workers for the bright and stronger China.
By loving our own culture, nurturing it and developing it, supporting our motherland (China), by helping our own instead of feasting on them, and by providing our children and grandchildren with moral values and high motivation on behaving properly with morality in society. Sometimes these simple ways would lessen the Chinese governments work for us thus instead helping them back.
