NIXON KUA A KNOWN VETERAN NEWSPAPER SHOT IN ARMED ROBERY

Nixon Kua and his brother were shot by 4 armed robbery suspects in the face. Nixon Kua was a veteran in the Philippine newspapers and he was a columnists. He was blocked and aimed at by four robbery suspects who were in their young teen years. 

His Brother shot several times but reached the hospital and declared out of danger but Nixon Kua still in Critical condition in a Hospital. Based on Police initial investigation it was unlikely it is related to his work as a journalist in a local Newspaper. He headed a government Bureau promoting Philippine Tourism and formerly  a columnists in interntaional news agencies.

Based on Police investigation, this is possibly clear Robbery cause robbers tried to gran his daughters bag with P80, 000 (eighty thousand pesos) inside. It is not new that Journalists are attacked and Philippines is one of the most dangerous places for the members of the Press. Based on statistics, 153 Journalists had been killed in the Philippine since 1986.
