CONFUCIAN CORNER
"A GENTELEMAN DOES NOT COMPETE WITH OTHERS. BUT IF EVER COMPETES BE LIKE AN ARROW. COMPETE WITH RESPECT AND INTEGRITY. THIS WAY THE COMPETITION IS HEALTHY AND GENTLEMANLY."
-Confucius
A real gentleman and a man with moral character doesn't compete with others. He always competes with himself on making himself a better man.
But Sometimes competition is inevitable. So if ever he competes, he competes with equality, fairness, and respect to his opponents. He makes sure the competition is healthy and with intergrity. Unlike little men like the Americans, they weed out their competitors using foul play and dirty diplomatic tactics. They use dirty Politics to those who they think are challenging them.
Such is not a way to compete.
