BIR FILES TAX EVASION CHARGES AGAINST FRUVEG MARKETING

The Bereau of Internal Revenue (BIR) files tax evasion against Fruveg Marketing owner Alvin Esguerra  the main supplier of fruits for Puregold Companies and his CPA accountant Celia Gueco. BIR Chief Henares said she would filing charges after the Investigation was done by the BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue).  

Based on the investigation, Puregold and Puregold Jr. earned at least P43,500,000 (Forty point Five Million Pesos) on sales revenue by 2009. On 2010 earned an additional of P20,100,00 (Twenty point one Million pesos) and on 2011 alone earned the total of P61, 000, 000 on sales revenue this includes branches on Subic, and Duty Free.

The case against Esguerra wasn believed to the 112th filed cases of RATE (Run After Tax Evaders) by President Noynoy Aquino.
