Bank Of China had been around since the years of the early 20th Century. It would be celebrating its near 100 years of being established thus having faced challenges due to the bigger responsibility as an important financial institution in the World. 

As China became one of the World's most stable and independent economic Giant in the world market, so is the bank of China (BOC) promoted and became a leading financial institution. This means Bank of China should have stricker rules and regulations to implement, and higher requirements. 

This priviledge gained Bank of China more clients and more credibility in terms of investments, deposits, and financial support from the local chinese and also overseas markets.
