PHILIPPINES LOST ITS MAJOR EXPORTS DUE TO SHOAL

China is one of the Philippines most important exporting partners. Recently due to the tensions created by the Philippines in the South China Sea, China had an embargo of Philippine exports. This thus affected the Philippine Economy and Agricultural products.

Just last week Banana growers just threw three containers of Banana just off the street of Davao because of the banning of the Philippine products to the Chinese Market. First of all is the quality Philippine products being sent to China. Quarantine found several dangerous organisms that are harmful in plants especially in the Philippines.

Philippine Coconut and Mango Products are also banned in the Chinese market.
