CONFUCIAN INSTITUTE FOUNDED IN ATENEO LAW SCHOOL

A few years ago the Chinese government negotiated with the Ateneo school and University for the establishment of the Confucian institute for the overseas born Chinese to learn and live the Chinese way. The very core of Chinese Confucian teaching was how to cultivate oneself and be the best of himself through moral values.

Ateneo was one of the very first schools to have a Confucian institute to teach the overseas Chinese themoral values of Chinese living. The Chinese government supporting the said institute was to place it on places and communities where there are Overseas Chinese on them.

This became a curriculum in Ateneo Universities thus one of the biggest advantage the youth would get from the Confucian teachings is that they will live morally and be able to cultivate themselves as gentleman and well respected ladies.
