CHAPTER ELEVEN
CIRCUS CLOWNS AND PAWNS IN A CHESS GAME
From my knowledge on the American behaviour and attitude, I am sure the americans would retaliate from that heavy death tolls in their front lines. Maybe there are possibilities of heavy reinforcements consisting of infantry, marines, and other troops to land in our shores or our neighbour's shores. There is also a possibilty they would send their techie planes and assassinate us just like what they are doing to the Arabs.
One way or another we are ready to take retaliation.
This is the normal course of war. You attack they retaliate back. I was hanging out in Fort Bonifacio and there was a military official with the rank of Colonel drinking in the cafe. He asked if he could sit with me so I offered him the seat. He proudly bragged about his rank in the Philippine Military and how important he was in the logistics of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
I pretended not to be a Chinese spy so raise his awareness about the words he was saying.
It came to a certain point that he began telling military operations in the Ifugao Regions about the american intervention and how they want to use the Philippine soldiers as their sacrificial lamb. So be it! If they (Americans) want to make sacrificial lambs like pawns in the chess game then we make sure we deliver our welcome party.
I reported to the elders about 11 soldiers sent by the Philippine Military under the shadowy command of the Americans to scout for Chinese troops and Spies. The Circle confirmed the report and it was true. They gathered a group of 30 Communsist 'Ghost Infantry'.
Lay traps on the mountainous steeps of the Ifugao region and prepared for the welcome party for the Philippine Military soldiers. With the assistance of the New People's Army (NPA) the left wing of the Filipino Communist Party here in the Philippines.
The Gunfight lasted for hours and 11 soldiers laid dead on road.
We offered our thanks to the Filipino Communists Guerillas and left the Ifugao area. I was informed through email and pictures the success of the military campaign. I also confirmed the success of the campaign when I saw the news said about the death of the soldiers in Ifugao. My CO (Commanding Officer) was glad to hear of my achievements. He asked me where I got the news.
I told him a Colonel in Fort Bonifacio was bragging about his rank and his duties in the Philippine military so I set a trap for him so he could spill all the beans. My (CO)Commanding officer just laughed out loud on the phone and congratulated me for a job well done.
