STUDENTS OPPOSES AMERICAN PRESENCE IN THE PHILIPPINES

Students from various universities went on strike and rallied against the presence of the Americans in the Philippines. They are crying out to the Americans to respect Filipino Sovereignity. Even the young students knows what the Americans are doing is called 'Imperialism'.

Young students defiled and destroyed the luster of the United States Embassy in Manila.

They threw paints, drew colours on the gates of the American Embassy. One of the students used clubs destroyed the letters of the American Embassy as signs of protests. The Outcry of the Students "Junk VFA (Visiting Forces Agreement)" and "US TROOPS OUT NOW!!!"

Students painted their hands with red color symbolizing its support for communism. Out crying their message of opposing American Intervention and Presence.

All in all are hundreds of students from different universities, all walks of life, and all classes gathered and rallied under the purpose of Anti American slogan.
