Democratic President Duterte had finally spoken out and said he fired Santiago due to Accepting Political and Personal Favors and Overseas Junkets. 

He also said Santiago Accepted the gift of the Parajinogs of a huge mansion in Ozamiz City. Based on Duterte, he had been accepting money from the drug lords and gifts for favours.
