41st INFANTRY BATTALION CREATES VIOLATIONS IN ABRA

41st Infantry Battalion committed Violation of Human rights and violence in Abra after a firefight with NPA (New People's Army) in Barangay Lenneng Licuan Baay, Abra. They turned on the Civilians despite their inability to cope up with the NPA (New People's Army). 

19th of February, The Bravo Coy 41st Infantry Battalion led by 1st Leuitenant De Los Santos arrived in Barangay Lenneng conducted warrantless search on Civilian Houses and Warrantless Interrogation. A Particular incident even a Barangay captain's entire house was search including his computer believing the NPA left some data. 

The Items were confiscated and later returned. Same acts on Sitio Killeng. 

22nd of February, Soldiers detained Freddie Ligiw at Sitio Patong a miner and a resident of Barangay Sucao. He was illegaly detained and interrogated and forced to lead them to Mount Inuman. The soldiers confiscated a shotgun commonly used for hunting by the people. But later released in 8 pm. 

These were done over and over again on many Barangays, sitios, and others.
