CPC EXTENDS SINO_US ANTIQUE IMPORT RESTRICTION

CPC (Communist Party of China) extends the restriction of imports of archeological items from China. The extension was confirmed by the state council via documents on two sides. 

The Memorandum of understanding signed by US and China was that of Antiques from the Paleolithic Period to the Tang Dynasty. 75,000 BC to 907 AD. It is extended to monumental structures and wall art with 250 years of age. 

This is a significant step of CPC (Communist Party of China)  on curbing illegal transactions of cultural properties through intergovernmental cooperation within the framework of international convention.
